You And Unrealistic Expectations

Let’s talk about how we all, that’s right all of us, set ourselves up for failure when we write our goals.

It is simple, yet so true. We put “Unrealistic Expectations” on ourselves.

A good example is when a new person gets started, they make a decision that they will earn over $100,000 per year in their first 12 months. When asked how much they make now, they answer “$30,000″, so you probe a little deeper, “Have you ever made over $100,000 per year before?”…”No”… so we go a little deeper…”have you ever been in business before?”…”No”…”Do you have any more to spend on advertising and training?” …..”no”. Writing Your Goals Correctly

Have you ever wondered how to write your goals correctly?

I know I used to think that all the time. It wasn’t until I went to a 3 month high intensive “results camp” (this was a personal development program that went over 3 months, it was all about setting your goals and then going and getting them. So we set them at the start and then we had 3 months to get them, boy did I learn some stuff, oh by the way, I did get my goals :) ) that I learn’t how to actually write my goals correctly and then what to do to get them.
